وجه نائب رئيس الشرطة والأمن العام في دبي ضاحي خلفان رسالة مفتوحة إلى المبعوث الأممي في اليمن قال له فيها إن السلام لن يحل بالبلاد طالما بقي القات.
ووجه خلفان في تغريدات مركزة حول اليمن، انتقادات لاذعة إلى الحوثيين، وخاصة إلى زعيمهم عبد الملك الحوثي وحليفه علي عبد الله صالح، رئيس اليمن السابق.
وبين السخرية والجد، وبعيدا عن القات والحوثيين والمثقفين اليمنيين المغرر بهم، غرد ضاحي خلفان قائلا :"عندي يمنيين دكاترة ممكن يستلمون اليمن ويخلوها روعة".
